The National Indoor Soccer League (NISL), born in September 2008 and consists of five founding members:

• Baltimore Blast
• Monterrey LaRaza
• Philadelphia Kixx
• Rockford Rampage
• Massachusetts Twistters

Each team will play a season of 18 games (9 home, 9 visit), starting in November and ending in early April. Most matches will be played on weekends.
