The National Indoor Soccer League (NISL), born in September 2008 and is comprised of five founding members:

• Baltimore Blast
• Monterrey LaRaza
• Philadelphia Kixx
• Rockford Rampage
• Massachusetts Twistters

Each team will play 18 games a season (9 home, 9 away), starting in November and ending in early April. Most games will be played on weekends.
