Before joining the organization of the race of Monterrey in September of 2009, Jose Barragan Chambers served six years as General Manager of River Park, a sports complex that includes seven soccer fields, football eleven which develop different amateur soccer leagues, plus a golf course.

In the early 90's he held a senior position in the Club Cowboys of the Third National Division.
