After several days of uncertainty in which I did not know of the situation that crossed their families living in Chile, the front end of the race of Monterrey, Carlos Farias was able to establish contact with them.

Because the communication infrastructure of the South American country was deeply affected by the earthquake of 8.8 degrees on the Richter scale that was raised on 27 February, for many Chileans who live abroad was difficult to know the conditions under which were their relatives.

Fortunately, in recent days the family of Carlos who lives in Los Angeles, California, was finally able to contact their relatives in Santiago de Chile and confirm that they are all good.

"They are all well thank God, I talked to my sister who confirmed to me that everyone is fine, but an aunt was a little injured because their home suffered some damage, but nothing serious," said Farias.

"They are at home, which only made some slight damage, but they are good, and my family that lives in the United States and I send something to try and replace a little material that could lose, but it is important physically they are fine, "he said.
